Has anyone voted early at the polls this year? How long did you wait in line? I didn't see the line from the main road this morning but it's here. May be an hour wait.

I voted early on Tuesday in Georgia. I went around 3:30pm and only waited 15 minutes or so. In the past I've tried to avoid the rush by voting at 10/10:30am and been mostly successful.

Early voting starts on Monday here. I'll probably go Tuesday mid morning. First time they are doing early voting, no idea what to expect. In our old state I always voted by absentee ballot but it's not an option here without a valid reason.

PA doesn't have early voting and doesn't allow "no-reason" absentee ballots. So I'll be waiting in line after work for probably hours on Election Day....

@littlebug: I know it's hard but stick it out! It's so important!
AZ has permanent absentee ballot voting, so that's how I vote. I'm a little nervous about my vote not "counting" that way. As a teacher I can't vote during the day and with a young infant, voting in person seems tricky... and many, many voters got shut out of the AZ priamry because of the significant decrease in polling places & huge turnout / long lines.

@DesertDreams88: Oh, I'll wait as long as it takes! I am surrounded by Trump signs where I live, so I need to make sure my vote gets out there!! So yeah, I'll be there with my Kindle and dinner, if need be!

It ended up taking an hour. I wish we could have made this a family outing but I don't think my kids would have had the patience to wait in line. DH will probably go on election day first thing in the morning - the polls open at 6:30am that day.
At least it was a beautiful day today to wait in line.
@DesertDreams88: I have felt the same way about the absentee ballot but I think it will count this year and they'll probably recount the votes too. -
@littlebug: I wish I would have brought a book today to read while in line.

I don't think our current state has in-person early voting. Weird!
