just preparing myself, even tho i don't want to admit it, that DS will likely be an early walker.
what shoes do you recommend?
DS is just past 9 months (has big, lanky feet!) and started to walk w his activity walker last week. he stands for a seconds by himself, etc.
It'll be fall/winter months in MI when he's actually walking on his own I think.

I bought Stride Rite for my double-wide-footed early walker. He was about the same age. Recently we've started liking Pedipeds too. Both brands have different lines for different types of walkers. The first shoes are more flexible, which is what you want at this point.

I love See Kai Run Smallers for first walkers! I know others also like Stride Rites and Pedipeds. You def want flex soles.
Keep an eye on MyHabit; they have SKRs a lot. You can usually pick up a pair for $15.

at 10 months we are using pedipedi, I like them the best. I don't think she will be wearing them outside (also will be winter) but they are great to get her used to wearing shoes & for inside.

LO was a late walker.... but we loved her high top toms. I think they give good foot and ankle support.

We loved pediped!! But mostly because Wagon Jr. had small, chubby feet that wouldn't fit into ANY other shoes. Seriously I couldn't even get robeez on him.

For inside, Pediped. If your LO has a chubby foot, I recommend SKR. For first real legit walking shoes, Stride Rite.

I used the Robeez Mini Shoes, which are not the suede bottomed slippers...they are legit shoes with rubber soles.

Stride rites have been easiest for E (walking at 9.5 months). He has wide feet and they're the only ones that fit right.

We loved PediPed for Lo's first shoes. They were easy on/off and loved them. Cute designs and they held up really well to daily wear.

They are the only ones that fit well and seemed comfortable for her when she started exploring walking at 10.5 months.
I LIKE see kai runs now that she is a bit older and they fit her better, but they weren't snug and comfy in the beginning like the stride rites were. We got her fitted at nordstrom....it was fun!!!

I liked livie and luca for dd. soft soles were super cute and comfy.
DS has a pair of soft sole Ralph Lauren shoes and I love them! He's gonna grow out of them before he starts walking, so I'll probably get him another pair. The ones he has were a gift!
