What's an easy appetizer to bring to a family BBQ? Nachos/veggies and dip are usually covered and i don't really feel like bringing a salad. Any Suggestions?

Fruit! Cut up some melon: watermelon, cantelope, honeydew. Put it on a platter. Done!

You could do Caprese bites: cherry tomatoes, mozzerella cheese cubes and basil on toothpicks with a drizzle of basalmic and olive oil and some salt.
I like to take crescent rolls and keep them in a sheet, spread veggie cream cheese on them and top with shredded cheddar & bacon bits. Roll up and slice and then bake.

What about tortilla rollups, fruit salsa with cinnamon sugar chips, fruit platter, little smokies, or fruit pizza (can you tell I'm craving fruit right now haha)

I was goingn ot suggest similar to @Volksgirl64: with the caprese bites. Or antipasta skewers - thread cheese tortolini, olives, cherry tomatoes, pepperoni, and hard salami on skewers. Cover with Italian or Greek salad dressing. Super yummy!

@WALLAROO: Those are so good. I always stick a little square gorgonzola inside and pop the bacon wrapped dates in the oven until the cheese is melted...so yummy!

I love to make my tail-gating jalapenos for bigger gatherings- easy and everyone loves them.
I halve whatever number of jalapenos I feel like using (usually 25) and deseed them. I make the filling (which is cream cheese and dry feta crumbles mixed together) and fill each of the halves with the filling. Then I wrap each one in a half strip of bacon and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
YUMMO!
