i put this under Milestones because I honestly have no flipping clue what's going on. My R girl is usually super chill, mellow, easy going, happy. on saturday, she had a runny nose, but otherwise, was fine. sunday, we were in a car a lot and she was pretty tired/bummed, but went to bed early. still had the runny nose.

yesterday, she was super cranky, crying a lot (probably more than she ever has!) and nothing would calm her. teething tablets, nursing, rocking, holding. on her back, on her tummy, on her side. i had to let her CIO for both naps for almost 15 minutes (she usually goes down within 10) and then last night, lost her mind going to bed. went down easily at 830, then starting crying at 915. we thought we'd cuddle and it would be fine, but she wasn't falling back asleep. put her in her crib and she screamed like a banshee. we walked, rocked, nursed, bottle fed, etc and we finally had to leave her to cry again for 15 minutes at 1045 because nothing was making her happy anyway.

i thought (think?) it is teething, but i feel like i'm just making that up! she has the runny nose (which is her only "sick" symptom, and a slight diaper rash. she also has recently learned to get on all fours and when she's crying, she's sometimes up on all fours.

i guess this is just a desperate plea for someone to tell me that it happened to them and they got through it and got their easy, happy baby back.

her crying is killing me because nothing i do is helping her.
