I have a few people that I would like LO to give a handmade Christmas card to, like her daycare teachers. I need ideas that are in between just finger paint on paper & elaborate crafts that will be a production. Ideas? What are you all doing?

I love making things out of their hand and footprints. I will probably do penguins, a christmas tree and a reindeer. There are tons!

We (me and E) made handprint cards last weekend. We did a handprint menorah as a hannukah card for SIL, a handprint octopus for MIL and a footprint owl for FIL!

We just glued pom poms on a piece of tree shaped construction paper. I don't know how old your LO is but my LO told me where to put the glue, I drop glue and he sticks on the pom pom. I'll probably stick that on the outside of a plain giftbag. Could your LO play with stickers? Just let her stick stuff all over the card. Or wrap your gift in craft paper and let her finger paint on that.

If you want something super easy that your LO can do, try bingo markers. You could glue a construction paper tree to a card, then let her make "ornaments" with the bingo marker. It's super easy for little hands & hard to eat! You can find them at the dollar store, Walmart, Target, etc. If you're feeling really brave you can let her help you glitter a few of the ornaments.
