With Halloween behind us, it's time for us to start thinking about the holidays. I hope I can get a good picture of Charlie and Olive together, and I'd like to send out a Christmas e-card (I'm lazy). Trying to get a good picture of the four of us seems like an impossible task!

Yes, but it is dependent on the picture. We are doing a photo shoot next week so we'll see if we get any good ones.

Yes, because I personally think the ones with just kids are a bit strange...like the kids just appeared on the planet with no parental involvement.

@Looch - haha, that is funny but I totally agree. It seems like the majority of the cards I receive are kids only which is cute but I want to see the adults, too!

We'd like to send out family photo holiday cards as well but will see if we can get in a good family photo. I have a hard time getting good photos of our son these days because he's always on the move or is trying to play with the camera.

Same as tequiero21-- won't be sending one this year (it'll just be me, hubs, and our dog), but will definitely go all out next year! if all goes well, we'll have our little one mid-July.

We will, especially since it's our LO's first Christmas! We have been taking pro photos every 3 months, so we have some good options from those. We also have a few non-pro photos that we really love, too.

Most definitely!! Since I regret not sending out a baby announcement, I will make up for it with a pretty niffy family holiday card. Now only if I can figure out how to take a picture with the three of us. That will be tricky.

We are looking forward to doing just that! We took 9 month photos with the photographer we used for DS's newborn shoot and did some family ones too that I hope to use for our Christmas card.

We did last year and I think we will do another one this year.
The timer on our camera was great for family photos. It was really funny seeing all of the outtakes we took. We don't have kids yet but trying to get our dog to behave in the picture was quite a task! I can see it getting harder when we have a dog and a kid.

We did one last year with wedding pictures. I'm thinking we'll take some with a timer this year and send them from us and "the bump".

Yes, this year i chose to do a 2011 recap photo card, a photo from every month and mixed it up with photos of just my daughter, just my son, the two of them together, and even threw in a picture of all of us but those are hard to some by =)

Last year it was a wedding pic of us and a professional pic of our dog (a gift from my sil....Loved it!). This year will be of our dog, and next year we will do it with the baby!

We've sent them out the last two years (no kids, just the two of us and pets) and we'll send one out again this year. We just got married so I'm using a wedding photo on the card.

Yep! Hubs and I did a photoshoot with friends. We took their pictures, they took ours. We're all photography hobbyists, so the quality is up to my standards. Here was one of the contenders:

Last year we did with our wedding photos. They were soooo easy I wish we could do them again. This year we really don't have anything fantastic to send out, unless we want to take a silly picture of us with something that says we'll be 3 next year.

We sent an e-card out last year, and we plan on doing the same this year around. And while we didn't have TWO babies last year, we have a dog who made it extra difficult by not sitting still. We used our DSLR on burst mode to take a gazillion shots to get the one we liked, but I like to think it turned out well at the end.

Yes, we ordered on Shutterfly last week. We got 100 for about 30bucks b/c we got the most inexpensive card. I was able to put 6 pics on it. There was a five day turnaround. So quick!! I like to get a jump start on them since we have to do so many. Most of them we put in our co-workers mail box or give to one major relative so we don't have to mail them. I feel like I need to include all the people who came to our wedding and our list keeps getting bigger now that we have so many baby friends.
Oh and most of the pics were just of our daughter. We only have one fairly decent family pic we took the day I ordered it.

@chopsuey119: It was $34 and about $10 of it was shipping to HI so even less than that to the mainland. The more and earlier u order, the cheaper it gets. Costco is really cheap in bulk too but everyone here gets them from there. Sometimes we do too.
