I just realized I never put my Chobani in the fridge this morning....so it's been sitting out all day. Eat it or toss it? It's my only snack and of course I'm at work STARVING.

If you dont mind warm yogurt eat it!? Unless it is like 100 degrees wherever you are?!
I would if I was starving and it smelled okay!

If it were me, I would pop it in the fridge and eat it when it got cold, as long as it smelled right.

Ewwww. Throw it out. Yogurt gets bacteria like nobody's business.
If you ARE tempted to eat it, check the lid. When the bacteria in yogurt goes from good to bad, it ferments. The inner metal lid will puff up from all the methane the bacteria emit. I've had bad yogurt before...it tastes kind of sparkly. Like sprite, almost. Gross
But yeah i wouldn't eat it=\

I'm going to just eat a little bit....so if I get "a little" sick we'll all know why!

@winniebee: I hope you dont get sick but if I was starving and it was my only snack and only sitting out for the first part of the work day then .....

I've done it. Not sure you should, but I never felt any ill effects. I figure it's all processed and packaged individually, whatever.

This same thing has happened to me on more than one occasion. When I did it for half the day, I ate it. When I did it the whole day, I chucked it. Just because it was too warm to even think about. Ick.

@dagret: I did it until about 4. I took a few bites to take the edge off but then tossed it. It tasted fine.

I know you already ate a nibble of it, but I totally would put it in the fridge to chill it then ate it later. ha!

I would toss it ... I am a paranoid freak about food safety though (we actually have "prep zones" in our kitchen).

I'm a bad person to ask---before bfing and pregnancy: I ate anything.
Now that LO is involved, I am super careful though
