The humidity here has really bothered my child's eczema. His spots are getting super scaly and I think I need to ramp up my product usage to treat it. Any recs?

I found Aveeno eczema bath wash to be good. And then used babyganics exzema body lotion. We've had great luck with thise, after I spent tons of money trying different things!!

I have tried the Mustela stelatopia wash and the ceravae wash and I definitely prefer the Mustela. Granted, his eczema isn't too bad at all, just a couple of dime-sized patches, but since using it he hasn't flared up much at all.
I also use the Mustela eczema lotion (forget name) and babyganics eczema lotion and like both, don't notice a big difference between the two.
When it does flare up I use a little bit of cortaid cream per our ped.

We used the Aveeno baby eczema lotion. It always worked to clear up LO's eczema. She seems to only get it in cold weather when it's super dry all the time though.

We use the Aveeno baby wash, but what really helps is using either Vanicream or Triple Cream. We have to apply it 4-5 times per day to keep the eczema from flaring up, but both creams work really well and we love them. When he has a flare-up we use a prescription strength hydrocortisone cream.

Earth Mama Angel Baby makes a baby shampoo and wash that is super gentle and free of any perfumes, dyes or sulfates. If your baby has sensitive skin, I recommend giving it a try. I also like California Baby, and that one is sold in Target so may be easier for you to find.

I just ordered some vanicream on Amazon today. Haven't tried it before but it had great reviews!

DS had super severe eczema and I feel like we tried so many things. What helped so much, probably the best although did not eliminate--but minimized it, was a combination of Cetaphil soap the bar and then cetaphil the lotion.

@Mrs. Deer: I used it a lot when LO was an infant and it really is awesome ! Really moisturizing but not greasy. I need to get some more. It cleared up his baby acne and his cradle cap !

We use a shea moisture shea butter balm as a sort of spot treatment over the impacted areas of skin. CeraVe lotion all over.
What really helped was switching away from a bath every day.

Following! We just got some samples of Cetaphil wash & moisturizer from the ped this last week & it seems to be helping. My SIL swears by the vanicream products for my nephew who's had fairly severe, chronic eczema, but I haven't found it in stores yet. May need to order online.

We always have eczema ongoing. We keep flare ups away with CeraVe or Vanicream after baths. Another Aveeno and Mustela user here.

Ok thought I would update. I ran in CVS on Sunday and grabbed sensitive skin dove bar soap and eucerin eczema relief cream. I've been doing the lotion twice a day and his puffy, scaly spots are totally better !
