1. I've ordered elderberry & made the syrup myself
2. I've ordered the Sambucus brand on Amazon/Target
3. I've also done gummies for both adults/kids (Sambucus for adults, Zarbees for kids)

I've used this one for years: https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Answer-Alcohol-Free-Sambucus-Extract/dp/B0017QPM6S/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_0_4/140-7004349-6172721?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0017QPM6S&pd_rd_r=fc7543b5-afe6-4cbd-adf0-938dbb295b52&pd_rd_w=5VNzC&pd_rd_wg=ycLMg&pf_rd_p=b1bfe359-2fd4-467d-b6e5-960dee9202b3&pf_rd_r=MNE09K1J4WM19CG91W2D&psc=1&refRID=MNE09K1J4WM19CG91W2D. It's a higher concentration than most of the other brands I've seen and I mix it into water for my daughter every night.

I buy dried elderberries in bulk and make tea by steeping them. Then I put honey and lemon in for my LO. So much cheaper than the syrups!

Thanks you all! These are all great ideas.
I didn't know I could make my own or just use dried elderberries!

Like others have said, I’d recommend making your own! I do it in the instant pot and it’s super fast and easy.

@LemonJack: do you have a recipe that you follow for making your own elderberry syrup?
I’ve only ever bought these gummies: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07C9K1DJ6?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

@imadreamer: I’ve used a few different recipes. This was one of the first ones I tried:
https://www.adventuresofanurse.com/homemade-immune-boost-instant-pot-elderberry-syrup/
None of us were huge fans of the cinnamon and ginger in it, so I experimented with some other recipes. At this point I usually cook 1 cup of elderberries, 4 cups of water, and half a lemon in the instant pot for 7 minutes. Once it’s cool I add a little less than a cup of raw honey. It’s super simple.
