Another one who got it!
I also got a random one a couple of weeks ago telling me I was 36 or something weeks pregnant. Yeah, I unsubscribed to those after the chemical (which, by the way, was NOT easy to do either!).

So sorry you had that experience!
I remember The Bump was pretty bad about selling people's info and I kept getting random mail from local companies long after a m/c and it was hard constantly being reminded about that. I'd start to forget a little and then bam! Stupid mailer.

@spaniellove: your story reminded me of my experience at my last vet's office.....my vet must have sold our info to drug companies. We sadly lost our dog very unexpectedly when she was just four years old due to an aggressive cancer. When I got mail addressed to my dead dog for the fourth time, I called the vet, told them to make this stop, and switched practices.

I would so respond to them to complain and make them feel bad. Not like it will make up for it, but maybe they can offer you something like a special coupon code as a way to apologize?

my cat died last August very suddenly at only 7 years. I recently got an email saying, "Time to update Evie's microchip info!" and basically started crying at work. As if I needed to be reminded.I think that's the problem with stuff being so automated these days. It can be hard to control who gets what. While most of the time it's just annoying to get an email not meant for you, in some cases (like this Shutterfly issue) it can be a real punch in the gut. Sorry some of you had to deal with this!

I got the email and thought it was super weird, even though I have two kids! I mean it's been two years since DS was born, over a year since DD was born - why on earth would you assume I'd had another one?? Is it because it's spring? Am I supposed to have popped one out because spring is in the air and the time for new announcements like that? It was super weird and annoying!

I got it too! A week or so before my due date with the baby I m/c last year.
I guess at least I am not alone.
