Do your parents forward you a lot of silly emails? My Mom does and I can't get her to stop!

Haha. My mom has probably forwarded me the how to spot a heart attack or stroke about 5 times. She also believes in every single internet hoax and I have to tell her that they are not real but she probably doesn't believe me.

@Andrea: I asked her to stop forwarding me those types of emails ( deodorant is bad, chain letter types, world is ending) so she did for a bit but now she cuts and pastes into a new email to get around my rule! Lol

oy. my grandmother sends me lots of ones about prayer and god, because she knows I'm not religious. she seems to be holding out hope.
she also forwards me political ones she knows I don't agree with. I think she is convinced she can 'change' me. sigh.
I just ignore them.

My MIL does! I just hit delete

My FIL sends a lot to my husband but I don't get too many. When I do get forwards/chain letter/hoax type things I usually respond with a link to the snopes piece regarding that specific hoax.

Not so much with emails but my mom has sent me those chain text messages! I had to threaten her with blocking her number to stop the madness.

My mom doesn't like that stuff. Once in a while she'll send me a forward of a funny video or joke.

my grandmother does!! it's pretty annoying
but she sends the cute mushy pet forwards, prayer/Christian or army/service type forwards.

My FIL sends junk all the time! Sometimes even political stuff that offends me

My mom does too! I try to tell her NOT to open every email she gets, ugh...

My dad does occasionally. Thank goodness not frequently!

My parents don't email, but my MIL loves sending me FWDs... so annoying. She's been better though, ever since she found out about her hospital's email monitoring system

Both of my parents send email forwards; I just delete them now, without even looking at them. My dad loves the political emails (even though we're on completely different ends of the political spectrum) and my mom always sends those scare tactic emails (like about how drinking cold water causes cancer). Sigh.

Occasionally and always to my work email! I've asked her several times to send them to my personal but she always forgets! haha
