The next step down! We just got notification that our son's emigration permit has been approved and issued. Next step, we get submitted to court, that process should take about a month, and then they'll give us a court date that's about a month from then.

So we're looking at around mid-November for our first trip, and mid-December for our second trip. So I could be meeting my son in 10 short weeks!!
