@Kulala: Oh ok lol. I def remember being worried that I wasn't stimulating her enough. But thinking back, at such a young age, EVERYTHING stimulates them so we really don't need to do so many additional things.

I totally would suggest babywearing if you currently don't.. It allows her to be close to you while still seeing everything.

I think it's normal that she doesn't want to be left alone, but I don't think it's a sign that she's bored. She probably just wants to be close to mama, the one thing she knows best!

@Kulala: I could have written this! My 11 week old pretty much does nothing but cry sleep and eat still. They say to interact and play with him... but he doesn't seem to like anything. He does swat at his activity mat toys and smiles at the lights. I feel like he should be starting to 'play' and he honestly doesn't!
I wear him in a sling and he absolutely loves it. He likes the Balboa one the best and it's so easy to load him into. He does look around a lot, I suppose that's good...

@Kulala: not too long, it kind of hurts my back. I take him on a nature hike for 45 minutes in the Boba (not pictured) and I use the Balboa (in the pic) for his "evening fussies". My DH and I rotate him there so we can eat and cook (not together ugh!!), so a max of an hour or two a night max, I'd say.

I would hate to recommend that you buy this gear and have it not work, but if you need to put her down / need a break from babywearing too .... our little girl LOVED the baby bjorn babysitter balance with the tiny love takealong toy bar. She has reflux so we usually feed her and then set her in the bjorn balance to digest for a few minutes (I think its basically a bouncer but it looks great and has several angle options as they grow). she either plays with the toy bar or watches us cook / clean / help big brother!

With my first I put a lot of pressure on myself feeling the need to entertain/stimulate her during her awake time- it was so exhausting! My best advice is to just go about your life and have baby join you run errands, I folded laundry on my bed while playing peekaboo with the clothes, unloaded dishwasher while singing songs, go on walks, etc.
