I unfollow. I like Facebook, because I've moved around a lot in my life, and it lets me keep up with people, but if you start trying to sell things on Facebook, I don't care who you are, I unfollow.

@mrs. twine, HAHA! No, not that kind of wrap

@cherrybee, seriously, i got this really verbatim message the other day about, "i was skeptical, too, but try it and you'll like it!" A whole two paragraph sales pitch. ugggggh *waves fist*

@yoursilverlining, I feel that way about Shakeology. FFS! It isn't some magical shake!

@grizz: Yes, exactly! I have a lemon/eucalyptus oil that I mix with water as an air freshener, and one bottle has lasted me over 2 years. I can't see how the supply of these plants can keep up with this demand. Some quality is about to suffer, and prices will start to go up

I commented earlier about having heard a lot about EOs lately, but up till now I honestly hadn't seen anyone peddling them on FB or elsewhere. But, I was just scrolling through my news feed and saw a status that someone's hosting a session on doTerra this weekend so you should come "give your medicine cabinet a makeover!" Oh boy.

I just got a starter kit as part of a trade and I'm interested but not in the sense that it will fix my whole life! I have friends selling it, but not like crazy people. I hid the person that was hawking the wraps and another that was selling some face cream and PMing me, texting me, etc. no thanks!

@grizz: Oh! Mountain Rose Herbs. That's where I buy all of my bulk herbs for teas and tinctures so I don't know why I hadn't thought to give their essential oils a try, too. I've been really happy with their herb quality, so I'm sure that they will provide a quality EO. Thanks.

@IRunForFun: That's also a good thought. We have a local farmer's market not even two miles away that I've been meaning to get to this summer (went several times last year) but we've been busy on Saturday mornings! I will have to go in a few weeks when I've recovered from delivery and see if there are any essential oils available or at least folks with more info.

I find the fb thing annoying too.

But more serious question for those who use them.. Has anyone found that they help with asthma? I just got a new inhaler for the first time in years and I think it's our ac making my asthma more of a problem but I wondered if they really help.
