Either divide and conquer for bedtime/naptimes or try to sync them up as much as possible. This may or may not be feasible based on their sleep style, etc. but with my twins, we always kept them on the same sleep/nap schedule. That meant one up, both up.

A large play yard to have a safe, contained area for them to play in may be helpful. Although mine knew how to push it from room to room. Alternately, if you are able to totally baby-proof a room or section of the house you can contain them in, that will help you a lot.

All the baby gates!! We have a large fence like thing that separates the living room from the kitchen and hallway. Inside the fenced-in area was basically my twins' safe spot where they couldn't get into too much trouble (until they learned to climb over the back of the couch and escape! But you have a while before that would happen, hopefully!). Having safe spaces you can stash one kid while you change the other's diaper or put them both while you make meals or bottles, is essentia! There are just moments you can't have your eyes on both of them, so having a space where they are 100% safe was important to me, even if it meant we took out all the nice furniture, removed all the lamps, etc. One major thing that helped me was having changing tables on both levels of our house so I didn't have to take them up to their room upstairs each time they needed a change.

Babywearing is also essential (even now at 2!) for getting the kids in and out of places. We have a double stroller but if I just need to get them out of the car and into the library, grocery store, coffee shop, it's so much easier to throw one on back and carry the other than to haul the huge ass double stroller.

If you're talking long term, I would highly recommend an extra rocking chair in the kids' room so your SO can do one baby's bedtime rocking/reading books while you do the other. It's nice one on one time for kids who have to share attention for every other moment of the day!

Will you have them sharing a room? Mine always have so it's never been an issue, but I know some twin moms who have the kids nap separately (one in a pack n play in another room) since sometimes sharing a room can be harder during the day when they aren't as sleepy. Also recommend white noise if you don't use it already, to sort of drown out each other's sleep noises, especially at first if they've never shared a room with another baby before!

We have the Summer infant pop n play playard. It's about twice as big as a PnP. We still use our twin PnP. My twins don't always play nice together so having two separate places helps. When they don't, they are crawling over each other. One will use the other's head as a stool or seat. Sometimes they do play nice and it's so great to see.

The playard and PnP will only work so much. They won't like being contained and will want to be held or explore (baby proofing). They have their own exersaucer but now that they enjoy crawling, they don't really like suiting in the exersaucer for long.

As for sleep, my twins sleep in their own cribs. They play and go down for naps in their cribs. Crib mobile, toys, diy blackout curtain and sound machine are usually what helps them sleep.
