FB has informed me that it's my in-home daycare provider's birthday. Do I need to get a card and small gift, like at Christmas?

I give a gift and a card and last year I brought her breakfast.

For teacher birthdays I usually do a small vase of flowers (I reuse a glass food jar for this = free) and then attach a note a $5 starbucks gift card - just a little something

I'm a gifter so I always vote to give a gift. Doesn't need to be big, just a token.
