I want to order a little table and chairs for LO off Ikea. Anyone ever have something shipped to you from Ikea online? Were you happy with it?

Yes I did! I was happy with the product I recieved but extremely displeased with the shipping speed and the lack of updates and tracking and communication in general. If you can go to a store in person I would highly recommend that!

Yup, I've done it twice. Both times were big orders and arrived super fast. There's two ways, either from online which in think comes from ikea warehouse or home delivery through your closest store.

I avoid it, because there is something weird with our store being the only franchise. I think I've done it once or twice, or tried to and something is always funky.

@Mrs.Someone: @regberadaisy: @Ginabean3: thanks for replying. Our closest store is 2 hours and 45 minutes away. Buying online just makes me nervous. Plus I've never been and I'm during to go!

I looked into it a few months ago, but shipping was so expensive that it ended up being worth my while to drive to the farther away store (1.5 hrs) that had what I wanted in stock.
