We need a life category. hah!
So, my husband has 2 work trucks, and we have one personal vehicle.
Both work trucks are in the shop and just this morning he went out to start our car and it a. wouldn't start (it's below zero so obviously our vehicle wouldn't start) and b. as he was giving it a boost, the front grill snapped off when he closed the hood! A little piece of plastic on our car can't take the kind of weather we live in, and that stupid piece of plastic is $350 to replace.
Our vehicles are only a small part of what I feel are just complete money pits in our lives, and I swear I don't hear of my friends talking about having the kind of issues that we do with our vehicles.
I get that it's kinda of a "them's the breaks" situation, but damn, can someone else just commiserate with me and tell me we aren't alone in always feeling like we're making one step ahead and 400 steps backwards?
