Not offend...but sometimes I want to ask something purely hypothetical and worry people will take it the wrong way, lol.

yeah I just had that thought today. Some things are better asked in person so you can hear tone and intent.

Yes, and I've asked a few that totally came out the wrong way through the computer...

Yup. One in particular I'd really like advice on but I'm too afraid I'll be burned at the stake.

Yes, I have a scenario right now but I'm worried that either she is part of this community ( a lurker ) or that it will totally come off wrong and make me look like a seriously evil step-Mother.

Yes! Sometimes I think about starting an anything goes thread. Like a thread where no one is allowed to be offended by anything or worry about being offensive. Then I worry that alone would offend people. Yowza.

@beaker: so sad.
I really wish we didn't have those few people who take everything into judge mental zone. I love a good discussion (with logic, respectful opinions and facts), don't get me wrong! But: no judgement. No room for it here.
I only avoid questions when it is too complicated to relay over the computer. Something words alone can't do it justice hehe.

I think if you're Gold you can post a thread anonymously through Mr Bee?

Sometimes... I do have a few friends here I would privately wall if I really need to get some perspective from someone else.

Sometimes! Now I wanna know what you're thinking of asking!
I think pretty much any topic can turn offensive online so I just try to word things "right." I'm sure I've probably offended somebody out there though.

Aw, I think its sad that people feel they have to worry about offending. For me, the few negative responses that I might possibly get are usually worth the great advice from the hive. But I totally understand why you might hesitate!

Why don't you all ask these questions here? It seems like the audience on this question is a nice non-judgemental group. My question I used to ALWAYS want to ask was "why the hell are you not getting married before ttc?" Then I got married myself and realised actually that was immature of me as nothing has changed between DH and I after we signed that bit of paper!
