I was just putting LO to bed when she decided to hide behind the glider. When she reappeared she was drinking from a sippy cup of milk. No idea how old that was. I think she only took one sip but repeated "milk, bleck" for about ten minutes.
I'm feeling like an awful mama. Tell me this has happened to someone else.

@Corduroy: Ds drank from a sippy cup in the car that I didnt know was there that I later discovered had some questionable green mould in the straw. He was fine though....just increasing their immune system right? I felt so bad though. If it makes you feel better when my sister was a baby my mum found her chewing on a dead mouse outside.... lol. So gross.

My DD hides her cups for later. She does the same with snacks. /: I think it's nasty but I have yet to figure out her hiding spot

Been there. More than once. L hides stuff and then I forget about it or just can't find it!

Been there done that. Got the t-shirt. N drinks soy milk so when it dries in the lid he gets made because it won't come out anymore. We have a new rule with cups. We can only have them in the kitchen or at the table. Kids can be so gross sometime.

DS did this the other day (although it was old juice). I felt AWFUL. He was fine though.

Lol, when I read the title of your post I thought your LO found someone else's sippy cup... at least it's hers!
That totally happened to DS once. The cup was so gross inside I couldn't clean it and threw it away, but he was fine!

My lo did this in the car with an old cup of water. It had been there for weeks at least. I felt sooooo bad! She was fine though!

Well sort of similar my son ate from a hidden and reclaimed pouch that was super old. He didn't seem to have any issues.

@Corduroy: yep, L has definitely done this. And we use the munchkin insulated sippies so it takes much longer than average for the milk to go the whole way bad. blech.
