For all of you expecting first time moms --- are you doing anything for Fathers Day?? I want to do something, but am not sure what!
We're going to be traveling, and doing a family lunch for my dad, but I'd like to do something just for my DH.
I have been looking for a cute Dad onesie - we're having a boy - so maybe something for that, but I'm not sure what else!

We are hanging out with my family (his doesn't celebrate holidays), and I bought him some golf balls, 'Mister Seahorse' by Eric Carle, & a dad-to-be fathers day card

Nothing from me, DH got new golf clubs a month ago and that was his future Father's Day gift.

I bought the hubs some cufflinks and will get him a card on the day of and probably take him out to breakfast.

@hellobeeboston: yup! I have seen them at target, stop and shop and hallmark! I also bought him strong fathers, strong daughters but he won't read it I'm sure...he hates reading. Lol.
Eta - I also stamped a baby foot in his card with my fist but it smeared. Lol!! I wrote that next year, her foot would be the one making the print

there is nothing to do here...but I am seriously considering booking us a vacation to Vegas over Christmas. I would bundle it as an early 30th bday/father's day present.

i am not sure if travelling with an almost 4 month old will be so incredible, but it is a direct flight from where we live and only about 2 hours!

When I was pregnant the first time I gave dh a onesie with our rivalry football teams on it. And then I miscarried ..... so the next time I was pregnant we didn't do gifts.

I just got him a card (he got me one for Mother's Day). We're going on vacation at the end of the month, and don't want to spend any more money than is strictly necessary (well, *he* doesn't, and lectured me for even considering getting him a gift...which I hadn't told him I was...boyfriend knows me well

I was just planning to get him a card, since that's what he did for me for Mother's Day. But this weekend his wallet broke, so I decided to get him a new one. It comes in the mail tomorrow and I'll give it to him on Sunday.

Lo was 2.5 months old last fathers day.. Thinking back, I think I got Dh a card.. No gift! Haha
This year I'm making him a photo collage and taking him to brunch!

I'm not doing anything. We'll be 10 weeks by then, but we don't have a baby yet. He didn't do anything for Mother's Day, but I was OK with that. I don't really feel like a mom yet. I feel like a nauseated, bloated, hungry whale, but not a mom....

My parents made me feel obligated to do something a little pricier than what I was planning. They got him a Craftsman power tool set. I got him a birth-12 months picture frame he thought was magnificent, and a gift card to Joseph A. Banks (he's been wanting a suit for a LONG time.)
For my expectant mother's day, my parents drove from MO to GA to help me move. They're kind of generous.

I bought a onesie, hat, and booty set with the Detroit Lions' logo DH is a huge NFL/Fantasy Football fan. I caved and gave it to him when it came though! LOL
I ordered a customized Father to Be card from treat.com written from BABY to Daddy and only had to pay postage! It came a few days early (yesterday), but luckily DH gets our mail and was home before I got home. He LOVED the card. :*)
