Anyone have experience using Tan Towels? I picked up a couple of them last week (this shop sells them in individual packets so you don't have to buy a whole box). I'm going away to a beachy location and wanted to try them, but I'm nervous! I've used countless creams and gels and the like but never a towelette. I'm going to a wedding so I'm afraid to be orange or streaky.

I'm curious also! Wondering what color I should get. I'm Casper white but Im worried the light-medium might not be noticeable enough?

I love tan towels. I feel like they are more forgiving than the creams and you don't feel so sticky after. They always give me a good tan. I also like the aerosol spray tans in the bottle also.

@Littlebit: If it's not dark enough for you you could always do a second application the next day. But I'm ghostly white and I feel like the light-medium gives me a good amount of color/glow without looking fake or being super obvious that I used tanner.

I got one towel that's supposed to be full body + face application, and one that is half body because my legs are considerably paler than the rest of my body so I was going to double up down there. But I can't reach my own back, so won't it look funny? Or should I wait till my husband is home tonight and have him do it?

@Littlebit: The package I have says to reapply every 4 hours to get your desired darkness if the first application isn't dark enough. Good luck

Any tips on how to apply? Or will that come on the box? Meaning should I start in one place in particular (like legs) or does it not matter where you start?

@SweetiePie: I use only the 1/2 body and use 2-3. They dry out quickly once they are opened. I can reach all of my back, otherwise I would have my husband help. I always start with the place I want the darkest (my thighs) and work my way down my leg. If you start at your feet your ankles get that dirty look.
