I needed clomid to get pregnant, and am anticipating getting back on it as soon as I'm released to TTC in a few months.
Since a D&C scrapes out the lining of your uterus and clomid has been known to cause the uterus lining to thin, did you have to wait any extra time past the two standard cycles of waiting to get a new prescription?

I had a D&C in June of 2011, and started clomid again in September. It took two cycles, I conceived in October 2011 which resulted in my sticky baby. DD is now 3. Wishing you much luck!!

Thank you so much for sharing, and for the luck. It took us 2 cycles on clomid the first time, I hope two times is the charm this time too. (Though I wouldn't complain if it was sooner, lol)

So I actually took Clomid after my d&c (about six weeks later, after I'd seen the OB for a post-d&c clearance check) because I had no cycle (as per usual) and wanted to attempt to O/get AF, in order to move back to IVF.
I knew it wasn't really to conceive (if only!!!) but it did help me ovulate & then get a period back. I wouldn't take it too much before that time frame though (1-2 cycles) just due to lining. x

@Crystal: Have you talked to your doctor about femara? It doesn't thin out the lining and less risk of multiples.

@AmeliaBedilia: My old dr had never heard of femara, but I intend to bring it up with my new dr.
Clomid worked for us, though, so I am a little nervous to switch.
