I'm guessing since there are so many mamas on here many of you have bleed for an extended period of time. Did you find any vitamins or supplements helpful? I'm on day 36 of bleeding post op from uterine surgery, no, that's not normal but they said we don't start to really worry for another wk or two. I'm on birth control & took estrogen for a month, both of which should have helped to slow/stop the bleeding. It's not anything like it was before when I was literally soaking an through an overnight pad all the way to my ankles trying to get from the dr's office home (less than an hour), now it's more like a light period, still need a tampon, but not a heavy flow. I just feel lousy physically & tired (some of which is not related) but I can't help but think that bleeding for so long is part of why I feel so drained. Also I'm really just sick of bleeding, it's a reminder that's much like rubbing salt in an open wound.
Anything help you rebound? Iron? Regular multi vit? Something else?
i have a deficiency, so now i just need to do them monthly, maybe i should do an extra this month though. i had to do them weekly for a long time before i got my level up to an acceptable one. i will work on the rest thing, it's just so hard, i wish i could rest
i might need to cave and take something, even just some benadryl to see if it helps until i get in a better sleep pattern. i should get more vallarian root, too! have you ever taken that?? it's fabulous for helping with relaxation and sleep.
