My 11 month old is fed on demand and still nurses many, many times a day. She's always been a huge nurser, and while it has slowed down a bit, it's really not slowed down that much. I want to keep nursing her on demand until she self weans, so we could be looking at a long nursing future ahead of us. About how many times per day do your extended nursers nurse and at what age?

16 months old and we usually nurse 6 times a day. Sometimes more, never less lol
We recently dropped from never less than 7 times and it feels so freeing! Hahaha

Let me think... today we've nursed three times, it's 4 PM. We'll likely nurse for an afternoon nap in a little while, and then once in the evening, and then nursing to sleep.
So barring her falling and getting hurt or something freaking her out, probably six times a day? She nurses throughout the night on and off as well, we cosleep.

Alexis is almost twenty months and still nurses 4-6 times a day - morning, before her nap, at around 1700, before bed and once or twice overnight. She occasionally throws in an extra morning session but she will also go seven hours between "drinks" if we're out and about.
At twelve months A was still nursing every 2-3 hours and she is definitely a booby baby!

We're at about 6 times a day at one year. I'm stopping pumping at work so I'm curious to see if that affects her daytime nursing on the weekends.

It varies! He's 14m and won't refuse if I offer.
On a typical weekend day, he nurses upon wake up (snooze button!!) before his morning nap, before his afternoon nap, at least one random quick session, nurses to sleep, then 1-3x during the night (we bed share). This is ever evolving though and somedays, he nurses forever and sometimes he's super quick.
On a typical weekday he nurses upon wake up, when I pick him up from daycare, before bed, and 1-3x per night. I don't pump at work anymore.

My 15 month old nurses 4-6 times a day. My almost 3 year old nurses 1-2 times a day.

LO attends daycare fulltime and drinks cows milk there. She nurses 3x a day at home.

At almost 25 months on days I am home with her it is about 4 or 5 times (whenever she asks). Work days is 3ish (with an hour or so of nursing/snuggling/winnie the pooh watching in bed before she goes into her room for the night).

my almost 18m old nurse twice a day. sometimes once. but my going back to work full time at 12m facilitated that. before 12m, he was at 3 - 4 times a day

13 months. A low day is once in the morning, before each nap, before bed, and once over night- so 4 times. When she is teething, not feeling well, or otherwise "off", it is more- I think today it was 6 or 7 times,

My dd still nurses on demand at 13 months but in the last week or so she's dropped down to one nursing session most days. Having said that, she's never been overly obsessed with the boob and she eats a ton of solids.

@Applesandbananas: This is how much DS nurses too, except he has stopped after daycare.
DS is 14 months and drinks whole milk at daycare and some at home to but he sure loves to nurse.

LO is almost 14 months and still nurses several times a day. And ALL night.

16 months and a minimum of 3 times a day. Sometimes way more depending if he's hurt himself, teething etc. We also co sleep so he'll nurse anywhere from 1-4 times per night.
We recently dropped from never less than 7 times and it feels so freeing! Hahaha
