Hi,
Every since I ovulated my breasts have been sore/heavy. One breast feels engorged (like how it did when I was breast feeding) and the other is just sore. I have had mild cramping a few days post ovulation, but I'm not sure if it was implantation since my HPT was negative. My cycle is due in a few days and I think my body is being very wacky. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I did the first time I was pregnant. The boobs were my first indicator cause they hurt like heck! Good luck!

@psw27: I told my husband that I'm either pregnant or going crazy. lol I have other pregnancy symptoms, but they could also be PMS. I may wait until my cycle is late before I take another test. I had a late positive with my son, so it may be the same this time (if it's positive).

Good luck! I didn't have any breast soreness until almost the end of my first trimester, but everyone is different!

I had crazy breast soreness last month, so I was pretty hopeful, but ended up with a BFN and AF. No idea what was going on, but I'll chalk it up to always-changing PMS symptoms.
If you have a history of late positives, there's definitely reason to be optimistic! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks ladies. I am trying not to think about it too much, but it's pretty painful. lol I will wait to test again at 12 dpo or the day my cycle is due.

@FancyGem: My breasts are a dead give away for pregnancy or my period so its extra confusing for me. But with my first pregnancy my breasts literally tripled in size in one week and were extremely sore. BUT when AF comes around my breasts also get very swollen and very sore. TTC baby number two and I have very swollen painful breasts today but I have to wait it out and see if AF comes in the next couple days. Hoping for good news for you!

Sore boobs were my first symptom! They were suddenly killing me around 9dpo and I tested and got my BFP. My boobs never hurt during AF so I knew something was up. That was my only symptom for a few weeks.

I only had breast tenderness with my second pregnancy. I couldn't hug my big girl without discomfort.

Update: I still haven't started my period and my test this morning was negative. I normally have a 28-30 day cycle (most of the time 28 days). I am currently on cycle day 33. None of my symptoms have gone away. I'm not sure what is going on.

@FancyGem: when I got pregnant with M, I tested a day or so before my period was supposed to come (wanted to see if I could drink on Valentine's day! Lol) and it was negative. I didn't test again until I was almost 2 weeks late (i had the flu and strep and the fact that I was missing my period just didn't occur to me) and it was positive. I know exactly when I ovulated. But I think some women just have late positives or implantation takes longer, so the hormones haven't surged yet. Fingers crossed that's the case for you and you get a BFP soon!!

My boobs are killing me this cycle, they are heavy and bit stabby. I don't always get this so I have no idea if it means anything or not but it sure is annoying. Good luck I hope you get a positive

I'm on cycle day 35 and I had another BFN. My symptoms include: late period, constipation, sore/ swollen breasts, areolas are getting darker, gas, increased cervical mucus, soft cervix, sensitivity to smell, fatigue, queasy, and emotional.
I am using dollar store tests. Do you all have any other test recommendations?

@FancyGem: Since it sounds like you're already a week late, would your OB do a blood test? I have a very regular cycle and went 3 days late once, but 7 days seems like a lot!

I bought a big pack of Wondfos from Amazon because we read a ton of good reviews. Are those the same as the dollar store ones?

They recommended that I wait until I was 2 weeks late to test again. I will not wait that long to test again. lol Hopefully I get a positive test before then.

Update: I may be out for this cycle. I noticed a light pink discharge then it was red. It has stopped for now. I don't have any cramps.

@winniebee: no. My plan was to take another test tomorrow morning or Monday.
I keep having to go to the restroom every few minutes. The spotting is light pink again.
