I've thought about hiding a couple people, but in the end, laziness won out. I also like to torture myself and look up the pregnant girls on my facebook on purpose and look through their pics and depress myself though. So I'm not the norm here.

@chibee: No I do the same thing. Then sometimes I would get all judgey, while we were still waiting to start trying-- like, sheesh, we are in such a better position to have a baby than them, why are they doing it first? SO none of my business, but I can't control the thoughts like that sometimes.

@sweetooth: but do you continually do it? because i do. sometimes I go through pics of positive pregnancy tests on countdowntopregnancy.com for like an hour, wondering what it'll be like when i finally get one myself. I honestly am my own worst enemy.

Only the people who obnoxiously post the weekly fetus updates and every single "woe is me, i don't feel well!" posts. I just get tired of it.

If they don't pass the "have I talked to you in a year/will I ever talk to you outside of Facebook again" test I take the opportunity to just delete them. I don't wish them ill, it's just an easier way to clean up my Facebook friends. If they're obnoxious but related or closer friends I'll hide their feed. After awhile you honestly forget about it/them. No need to make an already difficult and emotional process more torturous!
@Chibee @foodnerd81 I totally do the same thing thinking "we have been so much more responsible and are more ready than they are" I hate when I think that way which is why I delete or hide them

UGH! A girl I know from high school (who I have always kind of competed with...) just posted her pregnancy news. She's due in the month that I really really wanted.... *sigh*

I thought I was in the clear with pregnancy announcements for a little while because basically everyone I know just had their second baby this year, but nope!
