What about "we have rescheduled/postponed our Labor Day celebrations for/until (insert due date)". Then add cute photo or further details.

I had a labor day BABY last year! I have been thinking about doing a labor day announcement too!!

@BronxvilleBump: I am huge too so can totally do a bump pic like the one you posted. I think it's very cute.

I have just been dying holding out until DS's bday and duhhhh I didn't even remember it was Labor Day!!

I LOVE the "we rescheduled Labor Day" idea! So cute & really I think you could add that text to any "we're pregnant" type pic!

Maybe "We're delaying until [due date] so we can celebrate with a new member of the family!" then post a picture of your bump.

Here's the photo we used for our announcement...I saw something similar and really liked it! I didn't have much of a bump until around 16 weeks, so I couldn't do anything focusing on the bump.

@BronxvilleBump: You said your hubby does photography?... I'm assuming he's photoshop proficient as well? I think if I had the skill I'd just take the pic in front of a smooth solid surface & photoshop in the background.... You can find lots of chalkboard type text out there these days too!

If not you could always find a teacher friend & see if you could use their classroom?.... (No clue if you could actually do that but guess it doesn't hurt to ask....)

@BronxvilleBump: Thank you! I made my chalkboard out of a picture frame and chalkboard paint, but I know that Hobby Lobby sells them. You could find one at any art store I imagine.

Postponing Labor Day celebration until our due date!

I didn't get to read through all the comments (or risk losing my train of thought!) but how cute would it be to say Labor Day NEXT year won't be in September... expecting baby ______ (date)!

Love all these ideas! I think a photo of the two of you (or just you) somewhere out in the sun would be fun and Labor Day-esque. That along with what @Rainbow Sprinkles said would be super cute!
