I'm new on the hellobee boards so a big "hello!" to everyone! 
I started testing using the cheap Up and Up Target brand pregnancy tests on DPO 9. Initially I saw a very faint positive line and as the days progresses (I'm now DPO 12) the positive line became more visible.. Still a bit faint but definitely darker since DPO 9. My question is could this still be an evaporation line (I ready on the internet this is quite common with the blue dye Target tests) or can this truly be a positive?

It certainly doesn't sound like an evap line, but I'm honestly not sure! Maybe go get a digital and test just to be on the safe side? I would think if it's getting darker, that's a BFP!

The fact that it's getting darker each day leads me to say its truly a positive. But I hated those target tests and didnt trust them. Go buy a digital!!

Sounds positive to me. I used the Target brand, when I saw another line, then I took the digital since I always heard the blue dye weren't as reliable. Of course I didn't know Target were the blue brand. Go buy the Clearblue digital, it is awesome seeing pregnant pop up!

This is very faint and difficult to capture but there's a definite progression in the darkness over the days.. I'm also a late ovulator (day 17) and my cycles tend to be 31-34 days. Is it normal to be having a later + for longer cycles? I'm hoping the results will be better in the next few days.

I concur with it being a true positive since the line's been getting darker and darker. I also suggest getting a digital for confirmation!

@serendipity: I can't really see the first one, but that second one definitely has two lines! How many DPO were those from?
ETA: oops, just read your original post. I think you should get a digital test and try that

Welcome!! I highly, highly doubt that you would get multiple evaporation lines like that, especially if you are still in the window of time that you are supposed to read the results.
I am not a fan of the digitals, as I could never get a positive result with those. I did, however, get a nice positive with First Response Early Result, which uses pink dye. I'd pick up a digital and a FRER if I were you! Good luck!

The top is DPO 9 and the bottom is DPO 12. Thanks everyone, there's still the next few days and I'll confirm with a digital or pink dye test if it remains positive. Keeping fingers crossed!

Looks like a BFP too. I tested with the cheapest WM brand-and faint blue line one night, took another the next night and BAM.

@JojoGirl / @LYDG I wish I bought the cheap dollar store ones first b/c the tests are pretty good. I spent a good amount of $$ on the blue tests and now I'll buy the digital test today. Hope it stays positive! Thanks everyone.
