I started rooting for the Yankees when they signed Matsui, and never stopped! I don't watch the games but check out their standing almost every day, and check out the highlights/articles about the games.
Hoping to take the kids to a game at some point! They've been to a few Mets games, and I'm worried that they're gonna become Mets fans. Not that there's anything wrong with that... it's just a hard life, and I wouldn't want that for them.

A's, Warriors and 49ers have been my main teams since childhood. I also like the Dodgers (from living here) and the Broncos by marriage.

I'm a Duke fan but don't have any strong professional sports allegiances. My family are all Phillies fans, so I'll root for them but I'm pretty ambivalent. DH is a huge Cincinnati Reds fan, so I pull for them for the sake of household peace

I really only watch football, and I'm a Steelers girl. I lived in Philly when they went to and subsequently won the World Series, so I kind of adopted them as my MLB team, but I don't really watch baseball on the regular. For college, I split my fan-hood between Pitt and Michigan.

I'm a legit fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox. I'll cheer for the Celtics and the Bruins when they make the post season but I'm not super into basketball and hockey.

Phillies all the way! I know they're terrible right now, but they've been terrible for most of my life except the year I was born and 2008 when they won the World Series. I'll take it!
DH likes all of the Philly teams, so I usually root for them too. I hate football though, and this town is fanatical about their Eagles.

Boston teams. But, I really only consistently watch football. So, go Pats! Too many baseball games to watch them all but I do love the Red Sox and baseball in general!

I don't love sports. But my husband's team is the Minnesota vikings. And now the utah jazz and byu football. I just occasionally watch and buy the Victorias secret team clothes. Like a good wife lol.

Im not but Im married into a bleeding blue New York Rangers generational family. My father loved sports but was never committed to a team, he just loved watching pro sports of any kind. My husband and his family are a new breed of fan to me as they truly live and die by a teams performance and its so different from the casual sports fan my dad was.

Die hard college football. We went to Alabama, so pretty much our entire lives from Sept to December revolves around it. We are also Falcons fans bc it's our hometown team.

Other than the Steelers, I'm mostly ambivalent, so I root for DH's teams - St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and the Univ. of Illinois Illini (he's an alum).

@twodoghouse: Funny! My dad grew up in IL, so I was a Bears fan growing up. Totally had a Jim McMahon poster in my bedroom, and I was a PRO at the SuperBowl Shuffle at the ripe old age of 5!

I'm a big STL Cardinals (hometown) and Green Bay Packers (I live in WI now) fan. I'm pretty spoiled.
I'll also root for the Blues, but they choke every year in the first round of the playoffs. I'm not a basketball fan.

Giants and a long suffering Mets and Knicks fan. I don't really pay attention to the latter two as much as I should although the Mets are doing well so far this season.
DH has different team allegiances so we agree to disagree.

We also love our AHL hockey teams - and the New York Islanders.

Our primary household sports are football and baseball. Being a Boston girl of course we are big Patriots and Red Sox fans. I watch the Bruins if they are in the playoffs and I really don't like basketball.
DH's second teams though are Cowboys and Tampa Bay Rays.
