My son is 8 months and crawling and getting into everything! Yay for mobile babies! He is obsessed with our fans around the house. It's hot where I live so fans are a must. I set him down and he always makes a bee line to a fan and wants to either play with the cord or try and climb it or try and stick his fingers through the hole (on our tower fan at least).

How do you baby proof a fan? Should I just put them away or keep my eye on him? It's just a bit frustrating when you want to walk away for a bit and he can get to the fan in a matter of seconds.
