Did any of you ever see or read this story? Its based on true story about a Jeffery macDonald a Green Beret doctor convicted of killing his family about 30 years ago. I was surprised to see him in hte news today, he is trying to get a new trial. Any of you follow this?

I read an article about him today but wasn't familiar with the story beforehand. I think it's so interesting that he hasn't been able to get parole without admitting guilt, but still maintains that he's innocent!

I read the Joe McGinniss book a long time ago, I thought it was enthralling. I don't know how I feel about it -- the guy who made the documentary "A Thin Blue Line" came out with a book trying to exonerate Jeffrey MacDonald, but the evidence to the contrary seems shaky compared with the thin blue line case. Basically his argument is that a crazy drug addict confessed that she was in the house (which was the Green Beret's story, that two dudes and a lady on drugs broke in and hit him a couple of times then slaughtered his wife and two daughters).

I am very interested in this story as well, I remember seeing the movie many years ago and then reading up about it, so its interesing that there is new evidence

I'm curious to see what the DNA evidence says. I'm probably in the minority, but I don't think he did it.
