I'm starting to load up on all the things we'll need to feed LO solids!
I've tried to remain a minimalist in terms of buying baby gear so I'm planning on buying 2 of the babybjorn bibs, but am wondering if 2 is enough! And if the babybjorns are the best option. My mommy friends swear by them because they're dishwasher safe but I remember reading Mrs. Bee's post that they were a bit heavy.
What are your favorite bibs for solids, and how many do you have?

We love the Baby Bjorn bibs....she doesn't play with them or rip them off like the Bumkins and Skip Hop bibs!
We have 2 Baby Bjorns and that seems to be enough!

We just use ones from ikea but I'm not 100% satisfied with them. They are waterproof and easy to clean but my LO always manages to spin them around so he is wearing a cape.
I have one skip hop bib that, while super cute, sucks because it is not waterproof at all. It's only good for dry foods.
I never bought the baby bjorn bibs because they seemed so heavy. My sister was gifted an awesome one that my LO has used but I don't know the brand...I'll ask her!

My SIL sewed me 2 body bibs like the ones int he picture. There the only things that keep the food off her pants. The Bjorn bibs just didn't fit her properly.

We have a dozen of the BRU brand cloth bibs, I don't love them and I only get one use out of each one, but since they were gifted to me we're using them in the meantime.

The Baby Bjorn didn't work for us. It was super heavy and actually tight around my LO's neck. I actually really like the Bumpkins, but if you think your LO will rip them off then maybe you need to get something else.

LO is a bit of a crazy woman with the foods...My favorites have been the simple terry cloth bibs (they're long enough and fit nicely around her neck, plus I can use it to kind of clean her face up before I take it off) and one called the "silly billyz bib" (I bought it at this closeout place called "Big Al's" for .88!)-it keeps food from leaking down the neck and staining the clothes!

Skiphop zoo bibs were the only kind that didn't distract/irritate my son so he'd focus on the food rather than the bib. We have 4.

My favorites are the Bumkin ones. Hated the Baby Bjorn ones.
