I don't have gread advice but I've found that carters runs more narrow than other brands, at least in boy stuff. I have the same problem with my son and I have no idea what to do with him this winter. He's 24 months, wears 18 months on top, but 12 month on the bottom. I think diapers are the only thing that holds his pants up now as it is.

We find Carters and Tea Collection to run really skinny. My girl is normal sized and has a hard time pulling them up. Old Navy too, in some styles.

My skinny mini daughter lives in leggings in the winter. Target cat&jack have fleece-lined ones. Regular pants rarely work.

Also the two-piece outfits are definitely a no go. My daughter is basically always a size ahead in shirts. In my experience the issue of being tiny gets worse over time, when she was littler she still mostly could get away with wearing the "correct" size but now this summer at almost 2.5 she's still wearing 18 month bottoms (and can wear 2T but 18 month fit better). Good news is we'll have gotten two years out of all her clothes from the last year!

I agree with Carter's leggings for a skinny baby. If you want her to wear other pants that happen to have belt loops, I highly recommend a Dapper Snapper belt! It doesn't get in the way of diaper changes and only costs about $10 on Amazon.

We don't have that problem at all, but I've noticed that Carter's seems to run skinnier than other brands. GAP/Old Navy tend to be roomier so maybe avoid those?

Ive got a teeny tiny girl also. i usually do leggings that fit tight, also H&M have stretchy skinny jeans that are adorable.

Carters leggings here too. My daughter is super tall and skinny, at 2.5 she can still wear 18 month bottoms.
