I currently have a nine west wallet but it is in bad shape now. I need a replacement! I usually go to marshalls or Tjmaxx ot get a designer wallet at a cheaper price, but this time I am thinking of just ordering online. What brands do you like?

I have a Gucci wallet that my brother bought me YEARS ago. But my cousin in law has a Hobo International wallet/clutch that I LOVE. I'm planning on asking for it for Christmas!

I loooove my LV Sarah wallet in Vernis. 10 card slots which is perfect for me, coin pocket, 2 large compartments and 1 little slot for tucking away a little more stuff. It's a little pricy, but I've had it for 5 years and it's still in perfect condition and dont intend on needing to replace it for hopefully at least another 5.

I have the same hobo one as @coacheswife123 and it's great! You can use it as a clutch with your phone/lip gloss inside when you don't want to carry a purse, but it's small enough that it works great as a wallet, too. I also have a Lodis brand one that's smaller but has lasted for years and still looks brand new. I got both of those at Nordstrom, and if you wait long enough you can find them on sale when they mark down handbags.

@coacheswife123: I love this too! I have a couple in different colors that I use at clutches. I was thinking the other day I should use as a wallet though.
I have a Coach wallet, fabric, that some friends bought me like 6 years ago. It has held up amazing. Would never know that it is that old. I used to buy nine west or whatever I would find at Marshall's or something but I would have to buy a new one every year.

I love my Hobo. I have a bigger one that comes with a chain so you can wear it as a purse and it literally holds everything...even my cell phone and keys. I have had it for two years and it still looks brand new!

I have a Kate Spade one that I love... big fan. It's like this one but a slightly different design

I have a Kate spade wallet that i got at an outlet that I love. It's the perfect size and super cute! I've been using it for 9 months and it still looks good as new.

Thanks everyone. It seems hobo and katespade are the most popular ones

I love coach wallets. You can get them super cheap at the outlet or on the factory store site... they constantly have clearance sales. Sign up for their emails.
I went through 2-3 large coach wallets recently (I get sick of them and have to switch it up every now and then!) and right now I've got a black patent leather Tory Burch I got at that outlet right before the baby was born.

Ditto @mrs. Wagon! I am normally a label whore for Michael Kors handbags and wallets, but I just bought leather wallet from Coach and I lurrrrve it!!! It's the best wallet I've ever had organization-wise, and the leather is soft but durable:). The Coach outlet almost always has an additional 30% off on the weekends and their already-low prices are awesome!

@Coco Bee: so does it lock up your money and keep you from making purchases?
pomegranate / 3872 posts
I've been using this michael kors wallet and I really like it! I had actually bought myself another wallet that I loved the look of and then my brother got me this one as a gift and I kept this one instead because it is very roomy and comfortable to use.

@tororojo: bahahaha I wish!! lol
no it's actually pretty cool - it has little folders that you label. So I have groceries, gas, restaurants, clothing, entertainment etc. We put an allotted amount of cash in each, once it's gone, it's gone. It has a place to keep track of the amount you put it and then you write down whenever you take it out.
It has a slot on the back for license and DEBIT cards (lol he said no credit cards allowed there!), as well as a slot on the front for the checkbook, as well as a coin pouch and a notepad and pen. It's big, but I like it.

@Coco Bee: That does sound smart! You must be very disciplined. We paid off our debt using the snowball and mainly use our debit card now, but I hate carrying cash and I love earning credit card points for big purchases! So I am like halfway down with Dave. I had no idea that such a wallet existed!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@tororojo: Yeah it's nice. We haven't been as consistent in following the cash part of it, but we still follow our budget. It's kind of a lot of work to take out cash every paycheck and divy it up. We're still pretty accountable with our debit too.
DH and I have been talking about whether we want to switch to using credit on everything and paying it each month because we have the southwest CC and it earns flights for us. We've already earned three free flights, which is amazing. We go to NY every year and if we could earn more flights, we'd go more often.

@Coco Bee: I guess there are advantages to each, whether you stick to credit or cash/debit. Free flights does sound like a really nice perk!

Thanks everyone I was really tempted to get a hobo wallet but I ended up buying this guess wallet for $30.

I have a hobo wallet but haven't been impressed with how it's held up. The leather is fused with a plastic-y material that chipped off when it was 6mos. old. It's really cute though, and I get compliments on it all the time.

Oooh, I love my Coach wallet--looks fabulous and holds everything...and it's held up pretty good too!

I have to agree with the Hobo wallets - I've owned two -- the first I got at TJ Maxx, and the second I paid full price for (I loved the color and wanted this SPECIFIC one) -- I think it's one of about 10 things that I've not bought on sale. I love all the pockets on this clutch -- I can stick it in my purse or just carry it as a clutch. LOVE IT.

@Mrs. Tricycle: Oooh, I love the pattern on that! I have a hot pink patent leather one that I'm just about to switch my stuff back to...I have been thinking about it, and after this thread today, I must take action!

I looove my Coach wallet. I have like the biggest one that they make and it's perfect. A lot of times if I'm just running to the store I will ditch my purse, and just carry the wallet. It's huge and fits everything I need. Plus its super durable. Ive been using it for over a year, and it still looks brand new!

Fossil! I have only had one wallet because it has lasted me so long! I have had it for about 5 or 6 years and it still looks relatively new!

I totally just bought a Hobo Lauren Wallet!!! eeek so excited!! I have been looking for a new larger wallet for AGES and haven't found anything I like...so looked up this one after reading this thread and IT'S PERFECT!!! Can't wait for it to arrive!!
Thanks Ladies!!

@Hanzabelle: Ha. I called DH right after I bought it to warn him that I'd made a really expensive purchase - he was a little nervous, thinking it was like, $500, so he ultimately considered the $100 price tag "no so bad."
Oh, forgot to mention that Hobo is ocassionally on Rue La La, so if you wait a little while, you can get a deal.
