I really need to get a thermometer other than our rectal one for our 2.5 year old. Do you have one that you love? I really don't want to spend $50 on a thermometer but need something that's quick for the moving toddler.

I got the exergen forehead one at Costco for $20-something. Totally worth it and so much easier than the rectal one. I think it's not quite as accurate but definitely close enough for me.

Love the Exergen. And you can use it for the whole family.

I have the Braun ear one and the Exergen temporal. Temporal is fine for a quick temp Check but when she actually has a fever I trust the ear one more. I can use the temporal on two different spots and get a different reading. And lastly I keep a rectal on hand because when she spikes a high fever the Dr wants rectal readings even at 32m.
Can you tell it's been fever ville over here?

We have the Braun Thermoscan ear thermometer- please don't, I FREAKING HATE IT. I can never get an accurate reading on either boy.
I'm in the market for something else.

We love our Braun ear thermometer. They use the exergen at daycare and it's always off a degree or two when I've taken them to dr right after.

I love our Braun ear thermometer too. dd likes to stick it in her ear as well and press the button.
