My DH wears a bunch for different occasions and they are all classic. He usually wears Chanel when we go out on date night so I get excited when I smell it. Tim Ford is his everyday work cologne and HM on the weekends.

I love the John Varvatos for men. I think it's just called John Varvatos.. it's very masculine but classic. DH prefers a lighter cologne when he wears it, it's the Lacoste Essential.

Go to a sephora or nordstrom and get samples! Best way to see if they smell good on your man!

Personally, I've been going with a very exclusive and hard-to-find French cologne that has really suited both DW and DS. It's a little pricey, but I'd definitely say that it's worth it for the bold, distinctive aroma:

My DH rarely wears cologne, but when he does he wears Ralph Lauren Romance. Love it.

Issey Miyake Pour Homme. I've loved this on men for years and years. I've been known to unconciously follow guys off the elevator when they're wearing it (when I was single of course! )

@lavender: Man, do men with babies still wear cologne? My DH hasn't worn any in forever! I might be in trouble if a hot-dad is wearing this scent and walks by! lol!

@lavender: I can't say I'm any better though. It must be over a year since I've worn perfume regularly...

Back in the day I swooned for Polo Sport.

As a college girl, I loved Abercrombie's cologne. No idea if they still make it or if I would still like it. I told one of my friend's that I liked his cologne, and he told me it was his deodorant! Old school Old Spice, I believe is what he told me.
