Krispy Kreme has my vote!
I'm sure I should try some local places but I don't crave donuts all the time and when I do it's for Krispy Kreme. I love their classic glazed donuts. I love it when it's still hot.

Not much of a donut person, but Top Pot is definitely the best around here. Mighty O is pretty good too. Seattle only though!

I don't eat donuts very often, but I love fresh glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme too.
ETA just looked up Donut Plant & we will have to try it when we visit NYC in July!

There is a local donut place around me that I love! They have the best white cream filled powdered donut! My absolute hands down fave donut

Top pot is an amazing donut. You should beach out. I don't really care for mighty O. My favorite donuts are Stan's on the corner in Westwood and Kingpin in Berkeley.

We don't have Krispy Kreme shops around here. My favorite is Dunkin Donuts.

I like to make my own. But then again, there isn't really much of anywhere to get them around here. I don't eat or make them often. I prefer raised dough (like Krispy Kreme style) to cake, though.

Do-Rite Donuts. It's near my work! I've gone a lot over the past year or so. Glazed & Infused is good too.

Loved donut plant when I lived in nyc but for me nothing beats a fresh, warm apple cider donut from orchards by us!

My favorite is LaMars, in Denver. We drove there so many Sunday mornings, even in the snow!

Maple Donuts in York and Harrisburg, PA hands down has the best donuts ever.
The Fractured Prune in Ocean City, MD has the best service d hit, your choice of topping donuts.

@Mrs. Jacks: I didn't realize you were, either! Small world! I remember one visit, to my dismay, when I realized that kingpin wasn't, in fact, a 24-hour donut shop. Closed from 4-6 am! I was devastated when I showed up at 4:30!

We don't have any really good donut shops here. We typically just hit up Dunkin Donuts but their stuff is typically stale and gross.

We have Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme here. I only like Krispy Kreme if they's hot, and I like DD's variety, so we usually go there.

Gibsons donuts in Memphis. They have a caramel glaze that makes me want to curl up and die. Mmmmmmmmm

Krispy Kreme, never ate DD until I was a working adult. They are too dry to me.
