I have wavy thickish hair that I straighten (not chemically) and highlight and had been using Redken shampoos but I'd like to find a drug store brand that I like. Have you found any that you like? Why?

I like LOreal EverPure and the Tea Tree Tingle from Trader Joes. They're both sulfate free and good for my curly hair.

I like the organix line. Particularly the coconut and argan oil ones.

I like Head and Shoulders Apple. My favorite shampoo/conditioner is Pureology ($$$) but we've cut back. My new expensive shampoo/conditioner is Paul Mitchell super smooth. Love it for when I straighten. I also like Herbal Essence lavender line.

Tresemme. I have the complete opposite hair from you though, so who knows if it would be as nice for you.

My hair isn't as thick as it used to be (thanks a lot, Sadie!), but it's curly and frizzy. I don't shampoo, but I use Infusium conditioner. I just do two passes with conditioner... shampoo is too drying for my frizzy hair! Infusium makes a good shampoo too though.

@Grace: Another vote for Tresemme! I have curly/wavy hair, and it works great for me if I don't spring for the expensive stuff.

Another vote for Organix and I also like good old Dove. If you belong to BJs/Sams, you can get a hugeeeee bottle of Dove for $6. Win.
