What is your favorite place to get decent quality photobooks? Doesn't have to be super high end like a wedding album, just looking for easy to arrange, and somewhat inexpensive or maybe a place that often has good deals or coupons. We had family photos done and I want to print out my favorites to display but have the rest all in one book that we can flip through. I've done shitterly before and t was fine but hoping there is something not too much more expensive with better picture quality.

I use Chatbooks and Shutterfly. Chatbooks are super reasonable and Shutterfly often has sales and deals.

I love Picaboo - especially their mini photobooks. And they often have vouchers so you can get them pretty cheap.

I've been a huge Chatbooks fan. I did 1 mini book a month first year, and then did a hard cover one for 2nd year.

Shutterfly! I did a photo book with them. It took maybe four evenings to put together, looks gorgeous and is very nicely bound (as in, hard cover and strong binding that doesn't fall apart when a toddler reads it over and over
)

I love Chatbooks. But I haven't used it for this purpose.

Shutterfly is really easy to use and customizable... I've made a few books with them, i mostly like the ability to format the pages however I want. There are ALWAYS coupons. I usually only do one when they're 40% off free shipping. they're always having sales!

Hi! I'm a photographer and I've tried a lot of different album companies at different price levels. I highly recommend MPIX.com's panoramic albums. They're easy to design and very nice. Not too expensive.

I like shutterfly for the photo books. Sometimes there are codes for free books, so then you only pay the cost of shipping.
I've also seen that google has started doing photobooks, which sounds interesting, but I have not used their service before.

I make a yearly photo book each year, so mine tend to be long (40-50 pages). I used to use mypublisher, but since they went out of business this year I tried mixbook. I ended up paying $60 because I waited for a 50% off sale. I also upgraded to pay flat pages, and again- my book was 50+ pages. The software was easy to use. I won't know about quality till it arrives in a week or two, but if you use them make sure to wait after you make the book for a 40-50% coupon code which they send out regularly!

I used Adoramapix for my wedding album but have used Shutterfly (typo in original post made me laugh) for books since then. I just started going back and doing yearbooks (150+ pages) and have begun using Blurb which I like a lot.

@periwinklebee: @mrs.kiwi: @agold: I just got my first mix book- a week early! The quality seems really good so far, so I’ll be using the service again. I did upgrade to the lay flat pages, but the book is much thicker than the my publisher books of the same dimensions I have. The cover isn’t fabric like mypub was, its more like a soft Matt textbook cover of that makes sense? Let me know if y’all have any other questions!

I use Shutterfly! What I do is leisurely make a book and then sit and wait for a good sale. Then I’m all ready to order and so t feel rushed to make it!

I tried snapfish and was really disappointed with the quality. But that could have been because I tried to save money and I didn't choose the glossy pages. It made a big difference.

@MrsBucky: I know this is an old thread but I’m curious- have you ever seen better than 50% off on mixbook photo books? I just finished my 77 page yearbook and am not in a hurry to order- right now it’s 40% but I’ll wait for 50. But free extra pages would be a game changer.

Oh and for anyone looking up mixbook- I was really happy with the quality of the books I ordered for Christmas. And I did regular glossy, not premium lay flat.
