What was your favorite candy/item to get when you were out trick-or-treating? Since I grew up in Hershey (and my mom worked for The Hershey Company), we always had an abundance of Hershey and Reese's products. So it was a treat to get a Milky Way or M&Ms. But I think my favorite was Junior Mints - I hoarded them and would totally ration them as I went through my candy stash. Admitting that is sacrilege, ha ha!

Oh gawd...Reese's, Kit Kats, Twix, Milky Way...basically anything chocolate and delicious (so that doesn't include like...plain Hershey bars, Baby Ruths, Almond Joys, etc...obviously...).

I loved lemon heads, the little boxes of nerds and those individual gummy hamburgers- I'd get ripped off by my little sister every year trading all my chocolate bars and chips for those little candies!

Can't choose a favorite, but can tell you that I hate those nasty chewy candies wrapped in black or orange wax paper. So yuck!

I always loved Crunch Bars, 100 Grand Bars, or Kit Kat Bars! Not a huge fan of chocolate bars these days, but I admit I did just eat some Kit Kats that someone offered at a meeting

I love the little Caramilk bars... so much better than the regular sized ones!

When I was younger it was kit kats. But now I can't have chocolate because it gives me migraines, so I guess I'll go with candy corn. Boring!

living off of chocolate bars right now! All diff kinds (dh got a lil crazy with the prebuying of hween candy!)... but i used to LOVE skittles! ( still do! )

Laffy Taffy is my favorite (as long as it's not banana.) I also like Starbursts and Snickers.

@Adira: The shaped Reese's are SO much better than regular. I keep meaning to ask my mom if they change the formula for those. Now that I have a reminder, I'll ask. I'll come back with the answer!

@Smurfette: @eiko2010: They are soooooo delicious! I buy them for my husband, but I ended up eating them all myself. Ooops! Time to get some more!
@eiko2010: I suspect the difference might be that they don't have that hard chocolate shell - it's more soft chocolate surrounding the whole thing, so there's a higher peanut-butter to chocolate ratio, but that's just my guess! I'd love to know if they really do something different to make them AMAZING!!!

@Adira: Problem if I buy them this weekend, I will eat them all myself. DH leaves Sat for London for 8 days. I don't know if I can trust myself with them in the house. Maybe they will have them individually, instead of buying a pack.

@Smurfette: I've been trying to only have ONE a day, although I still ended up eating the whole package within a week. Ooops. I bet you'll be able to find them individually, so you can just get a couple for yourself!

@Adira: So my mom says they use a different butter in the shaped Reese's. They actually call it "bunny butter" because it's sweeter than the butter they use in the regular Reese's. And she says the shape itself lends itself to a "different eating experience." So there ya go!
