I was so focused on pregnancy that I never thought ahead to getting a baby book! Which book(s) did you like the best?

I have the latest edition of Baby411 - I really like how the sections in the book are set up, and it's a mix of question/answers, bullet points and short paragraphs so it doesn't take forever to read.

@Meggo5: I did buy What to Expect for a One Year Old (or whatever it's calleD) and "Healthy Sleep, Healthy Child" but mostly I used the internet for research.

This isn't a book, but I like the weekly emails from Baby Center. If you sign up, they send you a weekly email about what new things are happing with your LO that week. I work full time so I don't have time to read a book so the emails are nice cheat sheets.

I like Baby 411. I like how it's laid out super-easy to find different topics and it breaks everything down and makes it seem simple even to clueless people like me:)

We have Baby 411 as well--I have only scanned it, but DH is almost done reading from cover to cover and has learned a ton!

Another book I like is Dr. Sears' The Baby Book...and I'm sooo not the Dr.Sears type! It's great for learning about the different ages and stages + more.

Our pediatrician gave out a handout at our prenatal visit and it had a list of recommended reading. The only one I got and have mostly read so far is Eat, Sleep, Poop: A common sense guide to your baby's first year by Scott Cohen. He is a pediatrician and wrote the book after he became a dad.
