What plain black leggings do you like? I love VS leggings, but they faded really quickly so I would like new ones. I've tried so many cheap one that highlight fat area, don't stay up or are scratchy...

I have these wide waistband ones that stay up and suck everything in and I have the normal waist band ones too!

I don't know if you guys have this store in the states, but the aritzia (tna brand) basic leggings have a great wide waistband and are only 22$ cnd. I looovee them! they also have a feature where you can cut them to the length of your choice.

Zella and Athleta. The Athleta ones are leggings I wear under dresses and such and do NOT have a wide waistband so they may or may not work for you. But my zella legging crops are amazing. Those Hue ones look great, too.

I bought the wide waist HUE ones based on HB recommendations and love them!

@TYSONJA Ahh...never tried those - are they thicker - like, could one see my polka-dot-underpants through them?

@tysonja: I've always found Aritzia to be for tiny body people. what are the fits like?

I've been looking too! Amazon has a lot of Hues free ship and return on Prime. I may have to try them out!

@babycanuck: i agree for everything else (and waayyy overpriced!) -- I've never actually bought anything from aritzia except for their leggings, which are strangely normal-priced. the leggings fit true to size. I'm 5'5 and 145-150 lbs and wear a medium for the leggings. I tried to go up to L when I was pregnant and huge, but ended up sticking with M. don't size up!

@tysonja: love the Aritzia leggings too! I don't think I've ever bought anything else at that store but their leggings are comfy and have lasted me a long time!

I like Uniqlo leggings. Comfy, stretchy, affordable and they don't make my thighs look and feel like sausages.

@delight: me too! I buy one pair a year (for the past 4 years) and wear them to death. I must say their jackets are really pretty :).

I love TNA leggings... the $55 ones though, not the cheaper ones. I find the cheaper ones don't fit as nice as the other ones. I bought two pairs about a year ago that still look brand new and they have held up a thousand times better than my Lululemon ones!

@chopsuey: did you find that they stretched out?
@mrsjyw: are the HUE leggings warm enough in the winter for you?
@PurplePumps: thanks for the heads up!

@regberadaisy: yep! i have different pairs. some are thinner cotton, the thick ones with thick waist band are amazing for winter. feel warmer in those than jeans!

@regberadaisy: nope! I got smalls and they still fit the same after many many many washings. Love my hue leggings!
