We have a large set of Magnatiles but I'd like to get my daughter some more for her birthday. Do you have a favorite brand of magnet tiles you like or should we stick with the Magnatiles brand? Do the other brands work with the Magnatile brand?

Picasso Tiles makes cars and windows and Magna Tiles doesn't have pieces like that.

We have the Picasso Tile car/wheel set and I can confirm they work fabulously with our real Magna Tiles.
We haven't bought any expansions yet, but I did register for the Magnatile diamond/hexagon add ons for DS2's birthday list. I'm a little OCD and like things to look the same (the Picasso Tile truckbeds look just like Magnatiles, for instance).

I think they are compatible with the magnatiles. The magnets on the Shape Mags are stronger than the magnatile ones from the reviews I read.
