@Ash: which one? No matter how many mascaras I try & love...I always return to my $6 Loreal mascara. I forget it's "real" name but it is in a gold tubing and it separates my lashes like a charm!

@TurtleDoves: loreal voluminous had been my favorite for years! Department store brands don't compare.

@PrincessBaby: so sad..they don't sell shu Uemura is stores anymore! The US discontinued it. But, we can still get it online. The lady at the Macy's make-up counter told me and I was like..."um, I get it online all the time anyways?" <<silly me forgot they actually sell makeup in real stores hehe
*that being said: Shisheido's eyelash curler is a top contender as well. Fierce competition for Shu!

@Ash: yes! I've tried this & loved it. And I am addicted to it's updated version "million lashes". This brand knows it's ish!

@MsLipGloss: This may sound odd, but you should keep one of the wands from the Lash Stylist, wash it and then use it with a new tube of mascara. I read that tip somewhere and apparently it works. A lot of mascaras are good because of the wand not the actual formulation of the mascara. (Except the ones that coat your lashes in tubes... That wand may not work with that kind)

I have been a Diorshow lover for many, many years! It gives my wimpy, straight lashes.... volume and thickness!

@StbHisMrs: They are just awesome! Several years ago I read about Shu curlers in every magazine ever. That was when there was not a Sephora everywhere you turned. I traveled for work and the mall had a sephora and I saw it there, and the workers all gathered around me singing it's praises...So I bought it and I was HOOKED! It majorly curls lashes and the curl stays...I've never used it w/anything other than DiorShow though...
The bummer is they discontinued sales at American retailers, so you can't get it from Sephora anymore. You have to order from their website, which is fine, but it takes a while to come in bc it's coming from Japan.

I am makeup onsessed and have tried dozens of mascaras.
I am telling you, I have NEVER found anything better than the mascara sold at costco (borghese). It is the bomb.

@StbHisMrs: do you have eczema in general? I have a bad reaction to all mascara too! I used to wear LancĂ´me, benefit, and also several drugstore brands but when I developed eczema in my late 20s all mascara would trigger a painful eczema outbreak around my eyes....so painful. So I have used mascara in a long time bc beautiful lashes aren't worth a painful reaction...but I would LOVE to be able to start using mascara again so maybe I'll try it.

Im gonna be the odd one out and say I don't wear mascara/hate it. Manipulating my eyelashes freaks me out, especially putting stuff on them! Ive also never curled them. However my mom swears by the neon pink and green tube maybelline drug store one!

L'oreal voluminous ftw! I've been using it for at 12 years now, and never stray.
