I liked geometry!
I liked geometry!

I have a minor in math, so I've had a lot of math classes in my day.
My favorite was probably Calculus III. It was a tiny class, the professor was crazy (in a good way), we didn't use a textbook, our final was a "group final", and I brought cake. Surprisingly, I also learned a lot in this class.

Algebra I guess, I sucked at math but could usually figure these out.

Total math nerd! Differential Equations was my favorite math class.
I *really* loved Structures - that's getting a little more into Engineering, but involves a LOT of math.

NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE.
I freaking hate regular math. #engineerfail. I need an application, like in physics...

Calculus was my fave. Pure math and statistics were my least fave. Oh I also wasn't a fan of any class that required proofs...
@blackbird: I am the opposite. I was pretty good at math but sucked at physics.

@blackbird: Hahaha, I was like, uuummm... aren't you an engineer? I did like my practical classes much more - it's fun to actually USE the math!

None of them.
I did however really enjoy Chemistry, which I've been told means I should like, or at least be decent at, math. BUT NO.

Favorite & Math are oxymorons. They don't belong next to each other.
DH said he married the only Asian that sucks at math.
@blackbird: @swurlygurl: hahahahahahhaha everyone thinks Architects are great at math. Um. No. That's a structural engineer.

@swurlygurl: @blackbird: You guys are reminding me of this XKCD comic

@locavore YES. Strength engineers? Rock at math. Me? No ma'am. You want to protect something from corroding? That's my wheelhouse.
@temperancebrennan, LOL.

@TemperanceBrennan: hahaha I gotta show that to DH- he is a mathematics major! He loves his math.
I definitely don't have a favorite math haha! Always hated it because I really struggled with it

I had to take accounting at an alternative evening school to get my math credits in HS, I liked it and still use it now.
Says the gal who dropped out of math 065 in college. Sad.

I hate math and am terrible at much of it. But I had a fantastic pre-cal teacher in 11th grade that I've never learned so much from. I actually felt smart that year.

Business statistics in college. Our professor was only part-time, he actually worked as an engineer at one of the local oil refineries. He would bring in examples of how he used statistics every day in his job. It was awesome seeing how to apply it in real situations.

I got a C in a class called "The History of Math" in college, sooo...
But, I actually did pretty well in geometry in high school, so I guess I'd pick that...

@blackbird: I almost accepted a job as a corrosion engineer with the navy out of college. But then I decided to go work in a cement plant.
I liked most of my math classes, but I think I liked geometry the best.

@blackbird: haha, I'm an engineer and I'm terrible at math too. I can do basic addition/subtraction, but that's it.
I liked pre-calc in high school, but I definitely didn't love math.

I really enjoyed Differential Equations as well. And actually I took two semesters, one in ordinary one in partial and liked them both in different ways. And while I don't necessarily consider it a math class, I did love taking History of Math.

In high school -- calculus.
In college -- Math Methods for Physics, which was basically a class on partial differential equations and Fourier series. I also did not particularly like the content of Real Analysis, but loved the class b/c I had an amazing professor.

I liked math, but I wasn't as good at it as I wanted to be. I did better with applied stuff, like in chemistry, and biochem, etc, but that really amounts to simple algebra most of the time.
