I have one pair of shorts that fit, and not even that well. They have a 4" inseam but always ride up.
I want a pair that is comfortable and doesn't dig into my stomach, long enough but not so long they quantify as mom shorts.
Where do you buy shorts? I just want something cute but practical!

I buy them at J. Crew. They are 100% cotton and so comfortable. I think they sell 3,4,5,7, and 10 inch inseams.

If you've got he funds, j.crew is great! I like gap as well. Shorts are so hard to find!

I just bought 3 pairs on sale on JCrew.com. They had some even cheaper in stores right now for $20 plus addtl 30% off! I just couldn't find the colors I wanted. Target had the JCrew lookalikes on sale right now for $15 or $17. Just saw them yesterday.

@LuLu Mom: how are they on the belly? I def still have that little "shelf" right at my pant line, I like shorts to go over that - so hit at the top of the hip!

@Mrs. Pen: I also have a little pouch still, I bought 2 different pairs, the 5 inch pair sits a little higher and does great with that, the other pair I bought a size up so they were more loose so it wasn't creating that roll!
