@littlebittyhouse: I would get the Micro Maxi instead. You can adjust the handle bar height and it can support the weight of an adult. At 4, DS is just about too big for his Micro Mini. I think we will buy the Maxi this spring and save the Mini for DD.

Micro Maxi is a good choice... my DS has a Micro mini and it works great for him. But my DD wants to ride it too, and it's way too small for a 6 year old. The lowest handle height for the maxi is the same height as the mini. Only downside is the price. My DD hated her Disney branded scooter, though. It handled horribly and the clunky design tore up her ankles.
