If your daughter likes to wear dresses and you get shorts to go under them, where do you buy them? What are your favorite brands/styles for under dresses? We have a few pairs but they are getting too small so I need to size up and don't want to spend too much.

I don't like this brand for much else, but have found bike shorts from The Children's Place to be cheap, last as long as I need them too (they're a bit faded after a season but will still work as hand me downs if desired). They come in maybe 5 colors and you can regularly get them for $3-4 with free shipping. Sometimes they have a lace trimmed version, which I think is cute! If you don't want them to show too much, size down. They're a little on the long side, but I prefer that to the shorter, wider cuts most stores call "cartwheel shorts" (which tend to flip up and let her underwear show just as badly as if she weren't wearing them).

I ordered some from Carter's and they work well for us. They came in two packs and we have white, navy, gray & pink.

We have some from Target, Circo, that she wears under dresses.

We have some Hide-ees that are great (they were a hand me down) and also some bike shorts from Old Navy.
