I feel like yellow is such a hard paint color to do for walls- so often the pretty color on the swatch is just WHOA on the walls. Yet my 3 year old insists she wants a yellow room in the new house and has actually stuck with that for a while, so I will give it to her.
Any tried and true yellow wall paint colors you love for bedrooms? I'm thinking soft, pale yellow, not bold. But not practically white. Let me know if you have one you love!

I have heard great things about Benjamin Moore's Hawthorne Yellow. I think it is one of their best selling yellows.

My guest bedroom is Valspar's Woodrow Wilson Maize. It's a nice, soft yellow. I'll see if I can find a picture.

@peaches1038: so that looks more yellow than cream on the walls? It's pretty in the swatch (well on my phone at least).
@Rainbow Sprinkles: pretty but I fear it would be too yellow. Not that a three year old would mind.

Behr Banana Cream.
You could also get the Hawthorne Yellow mixed at 50%, that would lighten it.

We did something from sherwin Williams with ecru in the name. It's very, very light but definitely has a yellow tint. I think it's pretty- I will try to get a picture and the actual name of it in a little while so that this comment can be useful in some way

Echelon ecru! Kind of hard to get a photo, it's cloudy out now and this looks brighter in more light. But it's a really nice color and maybe with some sunny bedding would satisfy the yellow loving 3 year old!

@Foodnerd81: If it were me, I'd grab a bunch of swatches and put it next to the yellow in the bedding to find something that is complementary. Narrow it down and then paint some test swatches to see what it looks like in her room since light will make a HUGE difference.

@Foodnerd81: old old house is definitely do a bunch of test spits. We have another yellow room- brighter than I would choose but it was painted that color and we've decided to keep it for now. It works, but lighting is definitely the key with yellow!

You have yellow in the bedding?
Match that color and then use a lighter tone, you can do that in the paint swatches.

@Silva: the funny thing is one of the girls rooms is already painted yellow. But it's YELLOW and I want to really like the color in there since once everything is in we won't repaint for a while. And they didn't do a great job painting anyway.

@looch: I had Banana Cream by Behr in my kitchen at my old house. It's a good yellow for people who don't like yellow. Not as bright as a full-on yellow.
